I'm a product manager specializing in combining big picture thinking with sound operational judgment; using creativity, intelligence and communication skills to drive organizational goals and objectives; and balancing appropriate direction with support and openness. When it comes to politics, I believe in progressive causes and I believe that progressive values differ fundamentally from conservative values. Conservatives work to protect freedom, opportunity and security for the selected few (typically, the wealthy); progressives work to extend these protections to every American. Conservative anti-government ideology surrenders responsibility for solving America's social and economic problems; progressive values say that we can, we must, and we will fight to make a difference. I believe that we must guard and never surrender our constitutional and civil rights; keep government out of our private lives; create a society where hard work is rewarded; stop domestic crime and foreign invasion; protect our environment and take care of our veterans, our sick, our elderly, and our children; and invest in our future and our communities so that we have a future and can keep the country strong.
