This Week’s Sermon: “The End of the Time” – GracePoint Community Church

This Week’s Sermon: “The End of the Time”

A few weeks ago we ended with Daniel’s prayer of humble confession for his people, and then God’s gracious response with the swift message of love from the angel Gabriel. But what did Gabriel say? What prophecy did he leave with Daniel? You might have expected that he would tell him that all would be fine. That Israel’s suffering would soon end. And he would. But not in the way Daniel expects. Yes, a time will come when sin would be no more and righteousness would be everlasting!

But how?

That’s the question, and it’s both confounding and, if you can believe it, heartening. Pray for peace this Sunday.

Dedicate the New Building

To commemorate and dedicate our new facility, we want to hold a special event and service on July 1st at 5pm at the new building. We’ll sing together and pray, and then we will give every person/family a permanent marker to write on the concrete a Bible verse that is important to them. And then we’ll stay after for a meal. So please commit to coming, and start thinking about the verse you’d like to dedicate the building with!

A Visit from the Saavedras

Come hear from the Frank and Sylvia Savvedra this Sunday as they share about their amazing ministry in Panama. They are passionate for Christ and his gospel and have been working diligently to tell men and women and children about Jesus. Let’s support them!

Goodbye to the Quicks

Sadly, this Sunday is Gil and Lori’s last one with us. We say goodbye to them and offer our great thanks. Come to wish them well, pray for them and eat cake in thankfulness to God for them!
