Earlier this year, I did something every product manager secretly yearns to do: I built a product where I was the product manager, developer, designer, key stakeholder, target customer, and executive sponsor.
It was remarkably easy to get roadmap alignment.
Meet Pup Trio
I created an iMessage sticker pack featuring a trio of cartoon dogs: a pug, a black lab, and a German shepherd.
The initial release of Pup Trio in June featured 13 stickers and some iterations. That wasn’t enough, so I went back to work. And now the updated Pup Trio is here!
The new version adds 20 more stickers, bringing the total to 33, with new expressions, seasonal options, and additional ways for a cartoon dog to communicate things you don’t feel like typing yourself.
The cast remains the same:
- The Pug: Dramatic, endlessly expressive, and always feeling something big.
- The Black Lab: Food-motivated, easily impressed, and up for absolutely anything.
- The German Shepherd: A little sassy, a lot loyal, and always has an opinion.
